Taken from AniDB<br />[A remake of the "Area 88"-OVA from 1985]<br />Makoto, a Japanese photographer, comes to a secret base in the middle of the desert, Area 88. Pilots fly lots of missions out of the base, making mone while putting their lives on the line.<br />One of the pilots, Shin, who is also of Japanese origin, catches the interest of Makoto... why does he risk his life for a country that isn`t even his?<br />As Makoto remarks, he finds it interesting that two people with the same written name, just pronounced different ways, can walk such different paths. Obviously they have some sort of history together...<br />
